ChibiMouse is developed by Developantry ("we", "us", or "our"). For the processing described in this policy, Developantry is the data controller. You can contact us at [email protected].

Information ChibiMouse accesses

ChibiMouse uses Bluetooth permissions to find nearby Bluetooth devices, pair with a computer, and provide its Bluetooth mouse and keyboard functionality. During this process, Android may make Bluetooth device names and addresses available to the app. The app also stores the selected computer and app preferences, such as language and scrolling preference, locally on your device.

Information ChibiMouse collects and shares

ChibiMouse does not transmit, sell, share, or upload personal information or Bluetooth device information to Developantry or any third party. It does not use analytics, advertising, accounts, cloud services, or third-party tracking SDKs. ChibiMouse does not make automated decisions or create profiles about users.

Local storage

This information remains in the app's local storage and is not sent to our servers. You can remove it by clearing ChibiMouse's app storage or uninstalling the app. Bluetooth pairings are managed by Android and can be removed in your device's Bluetooth settings.

Data retention and deletion

ChibiMouse does not receive or store user data on external servers. Local app preferences and the selected computer are retained only until you clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Bluetooth pairings are retained according to your Android Bluetooth settings until you remove them there.

Security

ChibiMouse relies on Android's application sandbox, Bluetooth system, and permission controls for Bluetooth operations. The app does not operate its own data-collection servers.

Legal basis and recipients

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, local processing of Bluetooth device information is based on your consent when you grant the Bluetooth permission and initiate discovery or pairing. It is used only to provide the Bluetooth functionality you request. We have no recipients of this information and do not transfer it outside your device or outside the European Economic Area.

Your privacy rights

Where applicable, this Policy is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Spanish data protection law. Nothing in this Policy limits rights that users may have under mandatory laws of their country of residence.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or to object to processing. Because ChibiMouse does not hold user data on our servers, you can generally erase the local data yourself by clearing app storage, uninstalling the app, or removing Bluetooth pairings in Android settings. If you are in Spain or the European Economic Area, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, including the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

Children's privacy

ChibiMouse does not collect personal information from children or any other users.
